The story

Photographer Perry Julien and artist Zofia Powell met at the opening reception of a group show which included both artists’ work. An instant mutual admiration for each other’s work led to plans for Zofia to embellish six canvas giclée prints of Julien’s photographs . The resulting creations were exhibited at Worthmore Jewelers in Atlanta from February to April 2024. This collaboration was the catalyst for “From Camera to Canvas,” an art venture inspired by desire to create a dynamic dialogue between two distinct yet harmonious art forms. Perry’s print, Ocean Tide (2019), serves as the basis of Perry and Zophia’s collaborative artwork.
